Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use majoritydemocrats.com, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we do

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the control you are on is always clearly outlined.
• Images carry text descriptions, and pages are built with real headings, links and landmarks for screen readers.
• Text is set to be readable against its background, and the site works when you zoom in.
• Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily on a phone.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the site does not animate. Films that play on their own stop after a few seconds or can be paused.

What we are still working on

Some of our films do not yet have captions or transcripts. We are adding them.

Tell us

If anything on the site gets in your way, we want to know. Write to [email protected] with the page and what happened, and we will fix it or get you the information another way.
